Elevators are designed to meet today's hospital needs. The car will easily carry a standard hospital bed. It is also designed to carry bulky hospital equipments. Versatile automatic control systems permit economical self service or attendant operation. For a relatively small hospital, minimum or two elevators are recommended so that at least one will always be available for use. One of them could be a service car with a rear entrance opening into storage, utility and/or service areas, or to an ambulance platform.
